The Daisuke Shard (or Shard of Daisuke) is the source of the power for the Daisuke Clan. It’s origins unknown to the world, the secret of the Blacksmith’s creation and destruction of the Hoskinanium Katana have remained secret to this day. The Daisuke Shard comprises the balanced and symmetric middle portion of the katana’s blade.
This piece of the shard is imbued with power that allows the Daisuke the ability to commune with nature to a supernatural degree. Because of its mysterious attributes, the Daisuke have discovered ways to understand, engage, and alter their natural surroundings, as well as communicating and influencing the natural world.
